How do I pay and get on the learning site?

Answer: You can sign up for the program at Growing Intentional Families Together: Adoption Coaching Certification Program  Once you pay, you will receive an email that will share the information on how to enter the learning portal.

I am having trouble getting into my account from the link in the instruction email I received.

 Answer: If you are not able to get into the account after you have created your account, go to www.giftfamilyservices.com, use the drop-down menu or the information at the bottom of the homepage to locate “Course Login” and click on that word. From there, you will be able to access your account.

Do we have to turn Pause to Consider answers to you or are they just for our own note taking/keeping?

Answer: The answers to the Pause to Consider questions are private. They are intended to highlight salient information and to prepare you for the course quizzes and final exam.

I clicked on a link but it said the page cannot be found.

Answer: Some of our resource/assignment readings are dynamic and change often. We do our best to keep the links active. If you run into an inactive link, please let us know and we will make the change quickly.

I printed out the lesson breakdown (Prep Sheet). Where and how do I find the lessons on those pages?

Answer: To access any material listed but not actually included in the course can be accessed by clicking on the hotlinks within the Prep Sheet.

Must I print the Course Book for each lesson?

Answer: We encourage you to keep both a digital and a hard copy of the Course Book for each lesson. In fact, the first step in each lesson is to print the course book for that lesson. As you progress through successive steps within the LearnDash platform, materials will pop up and/or be available by following the hot links provided in that step. Once you complete the course, the printed and digital copies can serve as a comprehensive, easily accessible reference source.

How do I move between the lessons on LearnDash?

Answer: Toggle back and forth between lessons by clicking on any of the three buttons that appear at the bottom of the page. These are labeled Previous Quiz, Back to Course, and Next topic.

How do I access the links and quizzes and course material?

Students can access the materials in two ways— first, within LearnDash platform and second, by clicking the links included in the lesson Course Book. If you walk through each step in the lesson on LearnDash, you will find the pertinent links for that step within the lesson itself.

When we are invited to the Live Class Discussions, are you expecting us to have completed a certain amount of material?

Answer: You may go at your own pace, so we are not expecting any certain amount of course completion. Please come with your questions and reflections and enjoy the conversation, connection, and learning.
